Local 15 TV was on the set of Yellow Day and got more information about the Movie, which you can read below:

"(MOBILE, Ala.) - Hundreds of extras were on set Thursday of a movie filming right here in the Port City.

The movie, Yellow Day is in its fourth week and final week of shooting at Camp Grace in West Mobile.

It's a faith-based film, that features fantasy, love and drama all packed into one story.

Friday they'll shoot the final church scenes at Spring Hill College. Then, it's a wrap. Next is post production in Los Angeles, then hopefully a theatre nearest you.

It looks and sounds like Hollywood, but Yellow Day is putting the spotlight on Mobile.

"It's faith based. That's the first thing but with a little different spin then say the movie Fireproof. I'd compare ours to a C.S. Lewis Book. There's a little fantasy and fairy tale in there," said Jeff Galle, Executive Producer and Writer of Yellow Day.

Galle is a Mobile native.

"One of the things that was dear to my heart that I thought was important was actually setting the movie in Mobile. This is Camp Grace that we're sitting at and the actual place in the movie is Camp Grace," said Galle.

Yellow Day is a community project. Thursday, 300 extras filled the set for the second to last day of filming.

"We've been able to involve over 25 churches so far, then on top of that we're involving Camp Grace. We've actually been able to have those campers be a part of the film," said Galle.

"It's very exciting. It's one of those things you have to stop and say, Okay Lord, you obviously had plans for us," said Melissa Pilot, Camp Grace Director.

This is Pilot's first acting role. She's playing a camp counselor in the movie and even has speaking lines.

"That's been so much fun. I get to be in hair and make up in the trailer," said Pilot.

Young Actress Ashley Boetcher, who you may recognize from the movie Aliens In The Attic is so inspired by Camp Grace, that she's already planning a trip back.

"I'm coming back in June to help with Camp M.A.S.H (Make Arthritis Stop Hurting)," said Boetcher.

Hollywood Actor Drew Seeley of High School Musical and Another Cinderella Story says he's sad to leave.

"I love Mobile. It's beautiful. The people are very sweet and friendly and the food is great. I've never had so much good southern cooking in such a short amount of time," said Seeley.

Ideally, the movie will hit theaters in 12 to 18 months.

Yellow Day director Carl Lauten is also from Mobile. He's former Director of The Cosby Show."
